The Trollbead story began in Denmark in 1976 with the creation of a single silver bead by silversmith Soren Solvsmed. Soren’s sister Lise pioneered the technique of making glass charm beads to complement her brother’s designs and the phenomenon that is Trollbeads was born.
A family business to this day, Lise’s three older brothers and most of their children remain the creative force behind trollbeads.
